While there’s not as much room for storage on single bed bases as there is when dealing with larger dimensions (like a queen or king sized bed base) there’s still generous room for storage in many of our models. For example, many of our bed bases have a single drawer, perfect for storing sheets, pillows, valuables, and so on.

While a king single may be large enough to accommodate them comfortably till adulthood, there are benefits to choosing a larger size for your child. A double or queen size, for example, also provides parents and carers room to sit and talk or read to a child comfortably. It also offers space for impromptu sleepovers and can be utilized as a play area for kids as they continue to grow.
